What it is
Pi Cycle compares a faster average (111 days) with a much slower one doubled (2 × 350 days). In 2013, 2017 and 2021 the faster line crossed above the doubled slow line within days of a major high, which is why people watch it.
How it's calculated
Each day: the average of the last 111 daily closes, and 2 × the average of the last 350 daily closes. A cross is marked on the first day the 111-day line closes above the doubled 350-day line after being below it.
Limitations
It has only a handful of past signals, so there is very little evidence. It was picked after the fact to fit earlier tops, it can cross late or not at all, and it says nothing about how far price moves afterwards.
Historical context only. This is not a prediction or financial advice, and past patterns can stop working.
