Bitcoin halving countdown
Every 210,000 blocks, the new-bitcoin reward per block is cut in half. Here's how far away the next one is, and what the price did around past ones.

How it works
The block height comes live from mempool.space. If it doesn't load, we estimate it from a recent known height at one block every 10 minutes and say so. The halving date is an estimate: it assumes blocks keep arriving every 10 minutes on average, and real block times vary. The price table shows what happened after past halvings. It isn't a pattern you can count on, and we don't forecast prices.
The halving block height is fixed by Bitcoin's code; the date is only an estimate from block timing. Past halvings don't predict future prices. Not financial advice.
